I had camp last week and I had a claiming to build this sorter. I built it and downloaded the mindstorms programmer to my estimator. Information technology comes with all the programs to all of the listed builds. If may be a little confusin but information technology is manageable.

Well, that's not true. The LEGO Educational activity software has the ready-made programs. Certain, that's piece of cake, just you tin too create your own programs for these robots using the Home Edition software, which is free.
The near complicated robot hither is GyroBoy. I've created my own program for it, then I should be able to share information technology here presently. I don't currently take time to build all of the other robots and create my ain programs for them, though.

The EV3 project files for the education models are unfortunately just available with the education version of the Mindstorms EV3 software, and and then they are not bachelor unless you buy that software for Usa$100. Plain, the reason for this is to practice with intellectual property, but I don't really understand this statement: if someone has gone out and bought either the EV3 retail set (plus the boosted parts to turn it into the EV3 education set), or they've bought the EV3 educational activity fix itself, then surely information technology should exist no pare off Lego's teeth to provide the EV3 project files for the instruction robots as they will accept already gotten their money'southward worth out of that customer when they bought the EV3 set.
They already provide the edifice instructions for free, and then why not the EV3 project files to go with them? Yes, people can develop the robot programs themselves, of course, just not everyone wants to do that. Sometimes, edifice a robot and downloading an existing program to it is all people want to exercise.
Come on Lego — don't simply tease us with the PDF building instructions… give us the EV3 project files for the educational activity robots… pretty please…?

LEGO is okay with sharing the building didactics PDFs above, but not the programs.

I have a question for you and i hope to go a reply from you soon. I have been assigned to build a robot using EV3 Kit 31313, and i am supposed to make a robot which uses IR sensor without IR buoy and information technology is capable of detecting obstacles using that IR sensor.
I would actually capeesh if y'all would delight aid me with the design such that the robot is able to motility forwards or astern and as well information technology is able to move its IR sensor sideways.

My daughter and I accept the Home set, bought all the elements to bridge the gap between that on the Core Education set up , and now take the educational activity expansion set. She loves EV3. We are struggling to find the projection code to go with all the extra robots we cannot build, e.g Elephant or Puppy. Does anyone know how we tin get these? Nosotros are learning to programme ourselves fleck by fleck, however these may be rather beyond our current level and great to encounter how that are crafted.

I accept taken over a schoolhouse robotics program and accept one computer with the education software installed. However, I tin not find the programs for the projects to a higher place. I am working with our Information technology section to re-install the software if possible, but are the programs themselves downloadable somewhere if yous have your software fundamental?

I had a like problem myself. You tin can contact Lego customer service with your software key and they should send yous a link to re-install on your new devices.
Notwithstanding, if yous accept the education software installed, try opening the cadre models. If yous see small window in the upper right hand corner that has a video clip of the model, you are close to the edifice and programming instructions as well! The video is i/iii, the edifice instructions is on 2/3 and the born program is on 3/3 which may really take a piffling while to "magically" appear on your programming canvass.
Unfortunately, much of the built-in programs are full of customized blocks. I would prefer to exist able to have the students read the programs then they can understand the entire procedure…
For those missing the programs, I believe you actually are better off at least understanding the mechanics that went into your model. Then y'all can teach students to tinker with their own programs to have their bots office in a mode that makes sense to them. There is then much more educational value to this approach.

EV3 Home Edition. I threw out the cardboard sleeve – yes, the one with the mission pad printed in the back – by mistake. Lego tells me that they tin can't send me another 1, not even a PDF or any digital version.
I have been looking on the web but found nothing. Does anyone know how I could get one? Is there anyone that could be kind plenty to have a hi-res motion picture of ane and send it to me? My son absolutely wants to start with the mission pad… Equally information technology is at present, we got a mindstorms that's non seeing any action at all.

Help! my five year one-time was able to assemble the entire robot arm correctly by himself following the 108 steps, merely now I have no thought how to help him get in actally work. Isn't this programing suppose to be easy? we have the software only the instrustuctions are terrible and I have no idea how to employ information technology. I take a chemistry degree– really I am non a moron– this shouldn't be this hard right? Does anyone know where to find real help with this toy?

I'm using 4 sets of the EV3 Education programme along with the expansion pieces in a homeschool setting. One of my groups built the Puppy just nosotros're non having success in programming it ourselves like we tin with the groups that just built a vehicle. They can run the pre-fabricated program but trying to program just using the activity or sensor blocks on the Lego education gets it to move a portion of its leg but then the block just flashes green like it's trying to do something but can't consummate the command. Any ideas? Can it be programmed to motility a distance and plow effectually? Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Thanks for the information! I have 2 students that created the robotic arm using the program from the software and neither is working. I have looked at them both and they announced to be built correctly. When they execute the programme the brandish does not evidence the question mark prompt after it initializes. I don't have the details for the Puppy robots, but I think the grey blocks yous refer to are the My Cake inputs and outputs. To learn more about these, you might find the EV3 Discovery Book useful.
